Wild Meadow
Thank you for helping Ireland’s Pollinating Grassland to grow at Grown Forest. In your name or the name of a person you wish to gift it to, we will be planting 1m2 of Pollinating Native Flowers on our Native Grasslands.
We use provenance gathered annual and perennial wildflowers seeds with the goal of giving some extra food to our busy bees and pollinators each year, providing some refuge for birds and other species of mammals, protecting soil and helping ecosystems get a little respite.
Our meadows are developing thanks to your support and you are now a vital element in our reforestation plan.
We will be keeping you informed on our meadows progress and when we have any opportunities for you to take part in any of our many projects we will look forward to seeing you on the day.
You will receive:
A beautifully commissioned mailer and certificate designed by Sally Caldwell, each certificate will have the unique cert number of your patch.
Hand-made frames:
Our frames are 5 x 5’’ hand built by the lads at Rocker Lane Workshop, they use reclaimed floorboards from old Irish dance halls.
The front of the frame is sanded clean to reveal the beautiful maple wood, while the sides are left with the worn and marked surface of the polished floorboard, telling the story of its years of wear.
