Terms & Conditions

  1. Who we are
Grown Future Forest Limited trading as Grown Forest (“Grown Forest”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is registered in Ireland. Company Number: 668390. Contact: neil@grownforest.ie.
  2. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made through our website grownforest.ie (the “Site”) and govern the purchase of Grown Forest’s planting and certification services (the “Service”) and any physical goods we supply (the “Goods”), such as certificates or framed certificates.
  3. The product / nature of the Service
    a. When you sponsor a tree through Grown Forest you are paying for the planting, nurturing, and ongoing stewardship of a seed-grown native Irish tree planted in Irish soil on land managed by Grown Forest.
    b. The physical item we ship to you is the certificate of sponsorship (or framed certificate, if purchased). The living tree and the land on which it stands remain Grown Forest property and stewardship. Sponsorship may be recorded in the name you provide and may be used as a legacy/heirloom; however this does not transfer legal title of the tree or land to you. The tree cannot be sold, transferred as property, or owned in the sense of real property ownership.
  4. Ordering and acceptance
    a. Orders are placed via the Site. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email. That confirmation will set out details of the Service/Goods, price, and estimated certificate delivery timeframe.
    b. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is a pricing or description error, or where we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
  5. Price and payment
    a. All prices are shown in EUR and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken at the time of purchase.
b.Payment information is handled securely by our payment processor and is not stored by Grown Forest.
  6. Delivery – certificates & framed certificates
    a. We ship from Rush, Co. Dublin. Delivery of certificates within the Republic of Ireland typically takes 3–5 working days from dispatch; EU deliveries may take 7–14 working days. (Adjust timings for your actual service.)
    b. Risk of loss for physical Goods passes to you on delivery. Title to physical Goods passes to you on delivery only. Title to the living tree and land never passes to the sponsor.
  7. Planting schedule & cancellations
    a. Trees are planted in accordance with our planting schedule. Typical planting windows and expected planting dates are shown on the product page and in your confirmation email. Please review these before purchase.
    b. Cancellation by sponsor: If planting has not yet occurred, you may request cancellation and a full refund within 14 days of purchase. If planting has already occurred (or we have incurred irreversible costs to fulfill the Service), the Service is non-refundable.
    c. We will always seek to be fair – contact us at hello@grownforest.ie for exceptional circumstances.
  8. No ownership / legacy wording
    a. Sponsorship is an ongoing stewardship and symbolic dedication. The tree may be recorded in the name you provide and may be recognised as a legacy gift or heirloom for future generations, however this recognises the named person as the sponsor or dedicatee only and does not transfer legal ownership of the land or tree.
    b. This clause is explicit to avoid any misunderstanding around claims of property ownership.
  9. Visitations & trespass
    a. Grown Forest operates multiple planting sites across Ireland. For safety, conservation, and operational reasons, all visits to any Grown Forest site are allowed only on officially advertised Open Days or by prior express written invitation.
    b. Any visit outside of Open Days or without prior written permission is unauthorised and constitutes trespassing. We will treat unauthorised access seriously and may pursue legal remedies where appropriate. Please respect our land, our staff, and our neighbours.
  10. Returns & replacements for physical Goods
    a. If your certificate (or framed certificate) arrives damaged, notify us within 48 hours of receipt at neil@grownforest.ie with photos. We will arrange a replacement or refund for the physical Good.
    b. As set out above, the living tree cannot be returned.
  11. Liability
    a. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
    b. Subject to that, our liability for direct losses arising from our negligence is limited to the price paid for the Service/Goods. We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential losses (including loss of profit).
  12. Force majeure
We will not be liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (severe weather, pest outbreaks, supply chain disruption, etc.). Where delays occur we will notify you and offer alternatives where possible.
  13. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
  14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on the Site is the current version.
