Oak Tree
Thank you for helping Ireland’s native forests to grow.
In your name, or the person you wish to gift it to we will be planting one mighty oak on our land in Grown Forest. The oak tree is a key part of Ireland’s natural and human heritage. With a possible lifespan of over 1,000 years, oak trees are one of the largest and longest living broadleaf tree species in Ireland.
Grown Forest is developing thanks to your support and you are now a vital element in our reforestation plan.
As your tree grows it will supply oxygen, reduce carbon emissions, restore biodiversity, create new and important space for our wildlife and offer aid to our fragile and damaged ecosystems.
You will receive:
A beautifully commissioned mailer and certificate designed by Sally Caldwell.
Each certificate will have the location and cert number of your tree.
Hand-made frames:
Our frames are 5 x 5’’ hand built by the lads at Rocker Lane Workshop, they use reclaimed floorboards from old Irish dance halls.
The front of the frame is sanded clean to reveal the beautiful maple wood, while the sides are left with the worn and marked surface of the polished floorboard, telling the story of its years of wear.
Recycled wood to frame new trees.
Forest Location
