Built in 1934 and renamed in the 1950s, the Rainbow Ballroom became a legendary venue that hosted Irish icons from Rory Gallagher to The Dubliners. When the original maple floorboards were retired, we reclaimed them and, with Rocker Lane Workshop, gave them new life as frames. The result connects dance floor to forest floor and supports our mission to restore native woodlands.
Reclaimed maplewood from the Rainbow Ballroom’s historic floor.
• Front: delicately sanded to showcase grain and tone.
• Sides and edges: intentionally left with original wear, including scuffs and polish marks, for authentic character.
Natural variations in colour, grain and markings are part of each frame’s one-of-a-kind story.
Designed to display Grown Forest certificates or your favourite prints and photos. Add confirmed sizes here, for example A5, A4, A3, along with glazing and backing details once finalised. Includes standard hanging hardware or stand options as applicable.
Dust with a soft, dry cloth, and avoid harsh cleaners and prolonged direct sunlight. Crafted from reclaimed Irish heritage timber and finished in small batches to minimise waste. Packaging is minimal and recyclable where facilities exist.

In 2020 the Rainbow Ballroom of Romance in Glenfarne, Co. Leitrim offered us original maple floorboards. Working with Rocker Lane Workshop we reclaimed the timber and handcrafted frames that carry real marks of Irish music history. Each frame is lightly sanded on the front to reveal the grain and left with authentic scuffs on the sides. It is a piece of heritage that now supports Ireland’s reforestation story.
